“Giggles in God”
by Rob King
There’s laughter dancing in the sky,
A sparkle in my Father’s eye.
Not every tear is from the pain—
Some fall like rain from joy unchained.
When heaven’s light breaks through the gray,
And burdens melt like snow away,
There comes a giggle, soft and wild—
The sound of God within His child.
It bubbles up from somewhere deep,
Where fear once tried to steal my sleep.
But love rewrote my weary song—
And filled it full of something strong.
Not just peace—but joy that stays,
That lifts my hands and sets ablaze
A holy chuckle, pure and sweet,
That makes the devil’s lies retreat.
I laugh because I know He wins,
Because His grace erased my sins.
Because He walks where I have trod,
And makes me giggle—safe in God.
So let the world think I’m a fool,
There’s joy that doesn’t play by rules.
For in His arms, I’m light and free—
And giggles rise so naturally.
